Smiley faces

Good morning to my fellow photographers!  I'm smiling as I write this because it's a beautiful day and I'm getting the assignment posted on time!  This one was a very good exercise in seeing- truly looking at what is all around to hopefully discover the "face"- and it was harder than I thought.  I found myself really focusing on what I was looking at through the viewfinder and all the elements in the frame. It also made me think that the television ads that featured pictures of faces in inanimate objects had a little help from the computer...

                                                        This one's obviously a set-up!

  1. It took a good "eye" or view for each of these Amy! Nice work. My fave is the knots in the fence board!! Good capture and perfect submission for this assignment. The rest are also very, very good....but I liked the fence board best.

  2. Outstandng Amy, you really put some effort into this week and it shows.....Great job, if I had to pick a favorite I'd go with number 7.....I liked that it looked so natural and had that little smile on it's face.....

  4. Amy,

I really like the cross-eyed poles and bolts. The ceiling #2 is good and must have been hard to get that shadow for the mouth. Good job.
The last one has the most personality. Furrowed brow and the jaw dropping. Very good eye.

  5. number 2 was my favorite it takes a very careful eye to catch that, also the rock was really cool too, I liked the natural settings and the color in number 5 adds character almost making it lifelike, good work!
