Thanks for this challenge, Mark- I rarely light candles and forgot how relaxing candlelight is. My mom used to serve dinner by candlelight when we were young and meals were fun and a little mysterious that way. I found a wrought iron candelabra at the thrift store and usually pull it out at Halloween- it has a little gate in the middle and some of the cups are a slightly bent so it has a macabre element to it. I also put it on a glass table next to a glass door to try to capture some reflection- don't know if it's reflection or the limitations of the camera that created the blue wisps- a ghost image of some kind...!
.
Wow - so much to view and so many angles in these shots Amy! Way to go with getting the maximum out of your prop. I like them all. My favorite is your artistic eye capturing the shot of the glowing/gleaming wrought iron without showing any flames at all!! That is beautiful - and it's 'signature Amy'!! Beautiful.
ReplyDeletep.s. - the blue wisps are mysterious and intriguing! Who cares how they 'showed up'.....it's pretty cool stuff in these images.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy, I enjoyed all your pics, #2, #3, and #8 were my faves. I think it was enjoyable to see the different angles you used - very nice!
