Emotions I felt...

The emotions I felt while contemplating this assignment:  confusion, anxiety, frustration, and admiration.  This was a difficult, but great challenge to creativity and I approached it by putting it on the back burner of my mind to simmer for a few days.  As it got closer to the deadline I panicked a little because I still had no definite vision- go literal and be creepy at the beach or mall,  make family members emote for me (laughing was the only emotion that came naturally, too naturally), or take  shots of people on tv?  Tonya, thanks for the brain aerobics on this one!

  1. Well Amy,
Whoever did those eyes was good at expressing emotion. I really liked the eye shots. I would have never thought you could do it with one eye. After all that worrying you hit it on the head.
The shoes and chair shot is good too. Curious.

  3. Amy....what a totally interesting approach to this topic!! It never occurred to me to view images and note what emotion is being displayed! Your post reflects your unique artistic approach!! Very nice!!
p.s. - the eye shot depicting 'paranoia' is just plain creepy.

  5. Wow, I think you went deeper into the thought process than any of us, and I worked out great..... I never thought of the objects, like the feet, or the donuts as being a part of emotion but they obviously are and you nailed it...very good job.....my favorites I think were the eyes, and like Burr said, whoevers eyes they were, they did a terrific job of displaying those emotions......wonderful Amy

  6. Thanks for the kind remarks, everyone, and my husband was thrilled his eye was such a star! For all the fretting, it was a great challenge!
