black and white and Easter all over
Hope you all had a wonderful, blessed Easter with family. My family is getting smaller (spreading out) so I did some hangin' with my peeps... I loved this assignment- I started in black and white years ago with a Nikkormat 35mm and a developing canister with two reels. I had not done any black and white photography since college, even though my camera takes pictures in grayscale, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality without metering or "developing and printing" myself. The black and whites were taken at Brooker Creek Park, east of Tarpon Springs, FL.

Amy - I can't even pick a favorite of the pix you have posted!!! These are all terrific. All of the pix with the reflections are magnificent! I truly can't pick a favorite. I'm not 'good' at doing or seeing B&W images for the pristine element they are meant to be....but it is obvious to me that you DO get that!!!!
ReplyDeletep.s. - the colored pix of the PEEPS are great :-)

ReplyDeletethose are all terrific, but I was really drawn to 2 and 3...I loved the reflections but all the tree shots were spectacular
